daily routine

1. Check email - see if any updates or interview requests from the schools that I have applied to.
2. Login to schools' application system - see if any changes to the application status.
3. Check forum discussions on PhD programs

To think that the deadline for schools have not even passed, I'm already doing all these at least once or twice per day. Come Jan/Feb, I may just go insane...

:) i know how it feels to wait for a result from the grad schools.. went thru it last yr - checked my email endlessly over the night, checked the online status pages and eagerly looked out for the mailman. my wait was longer than i had expected - i got a heap of rejects and my 1st admit came only in may and the funding came through only in june. while i am sure your profile will be good, be prepared for a long wait. that way if it happens earlier it will be a pleasant surprise.
