How long does it take to do a PhD?

Most schools' FAQ would say 4 to 5 years.

But there is a 3rd year guy who is already on the job market. Amazing... Maybe his two Master degrees help. But nevertheless, it is really amazing.

Hi there,

I am applying for US business school phd program this year. I have read your blogs and found them very helpful. Thank you very much for sharing such information.

I just have a question regarding the IS profs at Tepper. My background and interest is in Business intelligence and decision support systems. I found the research topic of Business value of IT most appealing to me. Would you be able to kindly recommend a list of profs that I should consider contacting? I can be reached at t7wang@gmail.com Thank you very much for your time and good luck with your exams!
