Some updates!

It has been a long while since I last posted here -- a few years, in fact. So, it is timely that I give a (short and quick) update. The big news is that I successfully defended, completed, and survived my Ph.D. studies! The whole journey is definitely not easy. It took a lot of hard work and perservance, and a desire to push through all the uncertainties and challenges. Of course, there are also some sweet rewards -- such as knowing that you have pushed yourself, and having your work accepted by journals (especially the top tier ones). Anyway, if I can do it, so can you! Going forward, maybe I will start posting my thoughts from the other side of the fence :)
